The ILO also issued a new publication containing articles of Work magazine from 1999 to 2006 on Equality between men and women worldwide. The book paints a picture of a decade of challenges and good practices in terms of gender equality in the workplace: discrimination in the workplace, women in search of employment in Estonia, the innovative approach of gender equality throughout life in Tanzania, women who have started their account in India, the progressive policy on paternity leave in Norw age, domestic workers in the Philippines, women war reporters or to fight to survive in armed conflict, women in sport and many other topics..

New Facts and figures on violence against women and children will be also available from the ILO Bureau for Gender Equality. This two-page document, consisting of facts and figures, gives an overview of the definition, scope and cost of violence against women and children in the world and their workplace, and calls for an end to impunity.
